Good morning! I wanted to share something with all the home buyers and/or sellers. I have been working with a young couple who are looking for their next home (I sold them their first so I know "how they work"). The have some pretty distinctive items that they HAVE to have so it has limited our search, but we ran across a home yesterday that shocked us all!
I found a home that just came on the market that only had exterior photos....I mean there were probably 5-7 photos of just the exterior. That kind of worried us a bit, but it was in a great neighborhood, great lot, and it was huge...did I mention it was an estate? We took the chance and went to look at it last night...there were a couple jokes made on our way and even in the driveway about what are we getting into. Much to our surprise the house was great! It was dated (1963), but it had HUGE potentional and all other other positives (lot, location...)made it very appealing!
So...my clients (and sometimes myself) usually dismiss properties with no photos, but I think I may have changed my mind. I still believe that the agents should post as many photos as possible no matter what it looks like, but this may have changed my thinking!
